History:

The club was opened in 2006 Sponsored by Al-Ola and, Al-Dowaliya. The club has achieved many activities in its first year, such as trips to not only NBK and Al-Ola IT departments but also to Zain telecoms company IT and Networking Department.
 
Reasons to Join Club:

    1) The Club contains many notes and books that can be borrowed from club library
    2) First priority to seats for field trips (to IT related companies and departments)
    3) Opens opportunities to work experience in part-time summer jobs
    4) Study groups
    5) Special discounts to certain Institutions
    6) Receive up-to-date club news.
    7) Online discussion board on Topics and Subjects taken in Computer Science
 
Rules :

Members of the Computer Science Club  must be a Kuwait university graduate or undergraduate student
     
Committiees :

     * Executive Committee consists of
                - Head of department: Bears  responsibility for the club
                - Two faculty members from the department of mathematics and computer science department: generally provides recommendation for potential club activities.
                - Club supervisor: An active member of the club and direct manager of club activities.
                - Treasurer: Responsible for financial balance of the club
     * Activity Committee: consists of a coordinator and a number of active members in charge of club activities such as exhibitions, trips, contests, etc.
     * Advertisement and Information Committee: Consists of a coordinator and a number of active members in charge of advertisement and publicity of Club
     * Website and Magazine Committee : in charge of producing a yearly magazine and maintaining Club Website.
